As we age, it is easy to feel like our time has passed or that our contributions are no longer needed. The enemy of your soul thrives on these insecurities, whispering that your time is up, your gifts are obsolete, and no one would want them anyway. This narrative, however, is a lie designed to stall your growth and rob you of your God-given potential.

The truth is, your purpose, passion, and potential never age out. Regardless of your stage in life, you have unique gifts to offer the world. Jesus consistently demonstrated this throughout His ministry, calling upon people to serve and inspire until their very last day. Moses was 80 when he led the Israelites out of Egypt, and Sarah was 90 when she gave birth to Isaac. These stories remind us that God uses people at every age to fulfill His purposes.

So, what is it that holds us back from stepping into our calling? Often, it’s the distractions of modern life. Whether it’s the allure of the couch, the endless scroll on our phones, or the constant demands on our time, these distractions can make it difficult to focus on what truly matters. But it’s time to rise above these distractions and get to work—not for our glory, but for His.

First, recognize that your gifts are needed now more than ever. In a world full of challenges and uncertainties, your unique talents and experiences can make a difference. Whether it’s through mentoring, volunteering, or simply being present for those around you, your contributions are invaluable.
